When can I expect my shipment?
The kits are generally shipped around the 15th of their scheduled month, although may ship up to a week from that date. If you do not receive your kit by the end of its scheduled month, please notify us.

You must join by the end of the month preceeding a shipment in order to receive that shipment. For instance, in order to receive the Nov/Dec kit, you must join by Oct. 31.

What if I decide I don’t like the club?
We are so confident that you’ll love the assortment of paper arts goodies we select for you that we give you the option to discontinue your membership if you are not completely satisfied. Simply notify us by phone or email and we will give you a return authorization number. Return the unused kit back to us within 10 days. Once we receive it, we will credit your account for the cost of your kit. Returning a kit does not automatically cancel your membership. You must request cancellation. If you joined using PayPal's subscription payment plan, you will need to cancel your payment plan yourself. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds for cancelled memberships are based on the non-member rate for each kit.

What is PayPal?
PayPal is an account-based online payment system that allows anyone with an e-mail address to securely send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account. Cynthia Duncan, Inc, the recipient of your payment, never has access to your account information. When you use PayPal to make a payment, you may use a credit card, debit from your checking account, or your PayPal account balance to send funds.

May I pay by check?
Yes. If paying by check, you must pay the entire membership fee at once. Email us for a total including shipping charges for your selected subscription term. Payments by check must be received at least 4 weeks before a scheduled shipment or your subscription may be delayed until the following shipment.

Ohio residents must pay sales tax based on their county of residence. Please contact us for the appropriate charge.

How much are international memberships?
International memberships cost the same as US memberships paid in US dollars. You may pay in full, or use PayPal's subscription payment plan. All port charges, tariffs, and customs charges are the responsibiltiy of the buyer. You may also send us a bank check in US dollars (drawn on a US bank) for the total amount of the membership plus shipping. Call or
email us for shipping rates.

What if I like some of the kits, but not all of them?
We take great pride in assembling these kits to give you a variety of collage and paper art products to use in your artwork and we don’t expect this to happen often. But, if you receive a kit and you feel you couldn’t possibly use anything in it, give us a call or email us within 10 days of receipt for a return authorization code. After you’ve returned your unused kit we will credit your PayPal account (or your credit card) for the purchase price. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. You may choose to return a kit and extend your membership by one kit. In this instance, you will be required to pay $7.50 to cover the shipping and handling of the extension kit. If you cancel your membership, your refund is based on the non-member per kit cost for all kits received.

How can I customize my membership?
If an upcoming theme is not one that you feel will suit you, you may ask us to skip a collection. In this way you can avoid unwanted kits and the nonrefundable shipping and handling charges. If you ask us to hold your membership before the 10th of the month prior to a kit shipment, we will hold your kit AND magazine. If you ask us to hold your membership between the 11th and the end of the month prior to a kit shipment, you will be sent that issue of Altered Arts and will be billed $5.95.

What do I do if something was damaged in shipment?
We realize that this can happen. If this occurs, simply call or email us within 10 days of receipt and we will make arrangements to replace the damaged merchandise.

What do I do if I do not receive my shipment?
If you do not receive your shipment by the end of its scheduled month, please notify us. We ship with delivery confirmation, so we will know if the kit has made it to your local post office. It is important that you notify us before the end of the kit's scheduled month. Do not wait until the next kit is ready to ship.

Something was missing from my kit. What should I do?
If this happens, please notify us as soon as possible. We cannot replace items that are not reported by the end of the kit's shipment month.

I did not receive my issue of Altered Arts™.
Members of the Mailbox Muse™ will receive their issues of Altered Arts™ separate from their kits. If you join between the 10th and the end of the month preceding a shipment, your first issue will be inside your kit. The magazine is shipped around 20th of the month preceding its issue date. Allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. If your magazine has not arrived by the time your kit does, notify us.

How much are the kits?
Depending on how you pay, the kits range in price from $27.95 to $29.95 ea. plus shipping and handling. US shipping is $7.50. All kits have a retail value of at least $35.00 with most being between $37 and $42. A one year membership paid-in-full is $212.70 (6 kits/6 magazines/$27.95 per kit + shipping). A six month membership paid in full is $109.35 (3 kits/3 magazines/$28.95 per kit + shipping).

How are the kits shipped?

Our collections are normally shipped via US Priority Mail. Those living on the west coast will receive theirs via Parcel Post, but may request to upgrade to Priority for a small fee.
